Junior hockey team to be announced today for series against India


KARACHI: The announcement of the Pakistan junior hockey team is being announced today for the five-match series against India.Minor changes have been named in the itinerary of the Pak-India junior hockey series.Final trials for the selection of the Pakistan junior hockey team will be held today at the Hockey Club of Pakistan Stadium in Karachi.Besides the national selection committee, president Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) Qasim Zia and secretary Asif Bajwa will also review the performance of the players.Meanwhile, the PHF has made changes in the itinerary of the Pak-India junior hockey series.As per the revised itinerary, the Indian Junior team will arrive in Pakistan via Wahgah Border on November 10.The first match of the five-test series will be played at the Hockey Club of Pakistan Stadium, Karachi on November 11 under flood lights whilet the second match will be held at Army Hockey Stadium, Rawalpindi on November 13.The third match will be played at Faisalabad on November 15, the fourth will be held at Sialkot on November 18 and the final match will be staged at National Hockey Stadium, Lahore on November 21.
